Making A Difference

The incredible impact made by BCFC Community Trust has been highlighted in a recent report.  The report not only showcases the programme we deliver and the people who we engage with but also shows the diversity of our participants with 86% of young people and adults attending our programmes being from Black, Asian or minority ethnic communities.

The Trust also engaged over 2400 young people on our Holiday activity and food programmes throughout the year, delivering over 500 meals to children. It was also a record year for students on our 16-19 Football Education programme with over 105 students completing their qualifications and a 78% positive destination rate.

This was also the Trust’s most successful year in terms of fundraising with a huge £44,000 raised through various fundraising initiatives including the incredibly challenging 3 Peaks Challenge completed by Trust staff and willing volunteers.

‘The 2022 -2023 season was an incredibly busy time for the Trust with our programme delivery growing to more than 27 individual programmes across the City of Birmingham and Borough of Solihull.

There were so many highlights for the Trust including our most successful fundraiser, to date, and our second year of residentials for young local children.

This was also our busiest academic year and saw the launch of our inaugural Girls Football and Education Programme and growth of our education and employability pathways to support the local community.

This has been an exciting year for the Trust and we are proud to continue to have a positive impact in our local community.

Our 2023-2024 season has already kicked off to a great start with some brilliant feedback from the young people who attended our HAF camps throughout the Summer and we are delighted to be able to continue these into next year.

We are always delighted to be able to showcase the wonderful work Community Trust does and extend our thanks to staff, funders, partners, sponsors and other key stakeholder without whom we could not continue to make a difference.
