Premier League Primary Stars helps inspire young people to learn through a variety of different ways. Available to every primary school across England and Wales, it allows for a positive impact on children aged 5-11 in both their classrooms and sports fields.
Here at Birmingham City FC Community Trust, we deliver a provision underpinned by the Premier League’s core values which directly impact the learning and outcomes of every lesson delivered. We encourage our learners to be:
• Ambitious – work hard and never give up on their goals
• Inspiring – set a great example to others
• Connected –work well with others and in a team
• Fair – treat people equally and think of others
Our lessons which cover P.E, Maths, and English alongside other areas, use the appeal of the Premier League and professional football to engage young people within our community.
Our Primary Stars Coordinator, Dan Kembery, and the team support teachers on a one-to-one basis to help upskill on the delivery of Physical Education and CPD. As part of the Primary Stars family, schools have access to 100s of free resources to help them and their students with their continues journey of development.
A variety of optional competitions are on offer as part of the Primary Stars Programme which provides a fantastic opportunity for children, who may not always get the chance, to develop within a competitive environment. We aim to increase the learner’s self-esteem and confidence to ensure a positive impact on their long-term development.
Our fully FA qualified and experienced delivery team can also offer support to schools by aiding in the organisation of sports days. For more information about the programme or to book a meeting to discuss how this programme can support your school, please email: lee.chapman@bcfc.com
