Premier League Kicks
Premier League Kicks

Kicks is a national Premier League campaign aimed at inspiring young people to get active in their local communities. The campaign not only provides sporting opportunities but also offers the opportunity to gain qualifications, voluntary work and other positive experiences.

The programme offers a range of diversionary activities with the aim of increasing participation in sport to reduce antisocial behaviour and crime rates in some of the highest need areas of the City to help build safer and more cohesive communities.

The sessions are open to all genders and abilities for those aged 8-18 years old and are free to attend. The sessions run throughout the week across the city of Birmingham.

"We are extremely fortunate to be able to run the kicks project in conjunction with BCCT. It is one of our most popular sessions, to the point we have had to split year groups over a two week rota. All the young people look forward to kicks on a Friday and it gives them an opportunity to release some tension, build relationships and develop important leadership skills at the same time."
