Football Coaching and Development
The foundation degree (FDSC) in community football coaching and development provides students with an opportunity to gain an industry recognised coaching award while being affiliated to BCFC Community Trust, in partnership with the University Of South Wales.
This Community Football Coaching Course, designed in conjunction with the English Football League Trust, develops the skills and qualities that are required to work within professional Football Club’s Community Departments or National Governing Bodies in areas of growth such as social inclusion, community coaching and football development. You will learn about children and youth coaching, football coaching, football development, social inclusion, and sports management skills.

On successful completion of the 2-year Foundation Degree, students could opt to top up (complete a 3rd year) to achieve a BSc (Hons) in Football Coaching Development and Administration. The year of study will consolidate your learning and start to specialise your work-based learning experience in line with your career ambitions.
