Based at St. Andrew’s Stadium, Birmingham City FC Community Trust is an independent Charity (Number 1086631) that has been working in the Birmingham and Solihull community since September 2000.
The Community Trust is financially independent from the football club and is governed by a Board of Trustees but we use the brand of BCFC to encourage participation, build community cohesion and help local people to achieve and be successful. We recognise that sport can play a key role in addressing local and national issues including obesity, mental health and wellbeing, employment and educational attainment and antisocial behaviour/ crime reduction.
Originally set up to deliver football activities, the Trust has grown significantly over the years and we are proud to now offer a range of programmes and activities that reflect the needs of our local communities.
We are committed to breaking down barriers to participation, providing opportunities for everyone in our local communities to be more active, choose healthier lifestyles and creating stronger, safer and healthier communities by delivering high quality sporting activities across 4 main themes; Sports Participation; Education, Training and Employability; Health and Wellbeing and Social Inclusion.
We work closely with and on behalf of other organisations and our partners are key to our success and in supporting us to achieve our strategic objectives.
Along with our partners and funders our experienced, professional and diverse workforce will support our mission to have a positive impact in our community by delivering programmes which care for, inspire, educate and make a difference.
