BCFC Community Trust on Tour… The adventures continue!

20 young people embarked on our second adventure of the summer , thanks to the fantastic fundraising efforts in the last 12 months where they swapped the Bull Ring and school for high ropes and archery tag!

This trip was jam-packed with amazing activities for the young people to enjoy: putting those video game skills to use in a full laser tag arena, learning the art of fencing, and topping the day off with a team campfire and a kickabout. Participants conquered their fears by tackling the high ropes course, riding the giant swing, and taking a leap of faith on the trapeze! They also improved their teambuilding skills by building and launching their own manmade rafts.

Providing new opportunities for young people to thrive are as integral to our values as they are important to their development. By making new friends, mixing with new people, and trying new things, our participants have had the chance to gain new skills and learn about independence away from the home.

Another massive thank you goes out to our fabulous fundraisers and the PGL team at Liddington, Swindon, for hosting us for the week.

We hope next year will bring new summer opportunities for our local young people, so look out for our future fundraising endeavours at our Community Matchdays.
